The Nu Cor team has been working on an extensive renovation project with the NAPA Development Corporation.
NAPA is located in Pen Argyl, PA and provides heavy excavation services in various construction sectors. The buildings on the property are of historic relevance, first serving as a site for the railroad industry and later transitioning into a pipe manufacturing plant.
Phase I of this project finished in December of 2023 and included the installation of a new 45,000 square foot roof along with roof drains, overflow drains, and drainage piping.
Phase II is currently close to completion and consists of work on more than half of the exterior facade such as demolishing the existing terracotta block and installing new Insulated Metal Paneling (IMP). The scope of work included a complete electrical service upgrade, new circuits, lighting, a new generator and transfer switching, installation of a Cambridge heating system, pouring concrete floors, and replacing overhead doors and windows. The restoration of existing overhead cranes, painting, and other building improvements also took place during this time.
Phase III is on the horizon and will focus on completing the remaining exterior improvements to the warehouse structure.
The NAPA Development Corporation was able to stay in business and fully operational during the entirety of this renovation work.
